NOTE: the account team member role is required to manage class rosters.
You can integrate credential records in Pectora with an external application (like an HCM) by utilizing the External id
field. This is a textfield with a maximum length of 64 characters and is meant to store the unique identifier (from your external application) for each credential holder. The external id of each credential holder is included in credential data exports and in the response when accessing your credential records through the API.
There are two places to enter External id's:
Enter External id's on the Close Roster Form
When closing a class roster, you can enter the unique identifier (from your external application) for each participant in the External id
column. If the participant is graded "Pass", their external id is saved and associated with the Account the class was held under.
Enter External id's on the External Integrations Form
After your class roster is closed, an "External Integration" button is shown below the roster tab. Press this button to access the External Integrations form, where you can enter the unique identifier (from your external application) for every participant that was issued credentials.
On the external integrations form, use the External id
column to enter or update the unique identifier (from your external application) for each participant that was issued credentials. Submitting this form saves the external id for each participant and associates it with the Account the class was held under.
