NOTE: this guide assumes you've created a course and you have the admin team member role.
A multi-step "+ Add Materials" form makes it easy to add materials to your course.
To add course materials, press the "Accounts" link in Pectora's navigation menu, (if you have more than one account, click the account with the course you are adding materials to). From your Account page, press the "Courses" tab and then press the "+ Add Materials" button (above the table) or link (in the table).
Select "Files" as the type of item to add.
Press the "Choose Files" button to open the native file picker on your device, select the files to upload, and press the "Continue" button.
NOTE: be sure the files you choose are allowed. Review the list of "Allowed file types" below the file picker.
After uploading your course materials, set the title, language, asset type and add tags. If you have more than one course, you can use the "Add to" field to add your uploads to multiple courses. The title of your course materials should be concise and must be 120 characters or less. You can select a predefined "asset type" or type in your own. Add tags to provide more terms the course materials can be discovered from when end users search. In general, tags should be short, common terms that end users would likely use when searching. You can add an unlimited number of tags, but each tag must be 36 characters or less. Tags may contain spaces, punctuation and alphanumeric characters. If you uploaded a pdf, a checkbox to collect electronic signatures is provided. Read the Collect electronic signatures from learners guide to learn more.
You can select "Team Member" or "Team Admin" in the "Access" field to limit which users can access the asset.
