NOTE: this guide assumes you've created a course and you have the admin team member role.
Pectora uses video.js, a widely used HTML5 video player to provide a broad range of support for devices and video formats.
Use embedded videos rather than video uploads to bypass the file size limitation uploads have.
To add embedded videos to a course, press the "Accounts" link in Pectora's navigation menu, (if you have more than one account, click the account with the course you are adding videos to). From your Account page, press the "Courses" tab and then press the "+ Add Materials" button (above the table) or link (in the table).
Select "Video embeds" as the type of item to add.
Add a title, the video url (the actual url of the video, not the embed code) select the language of the video and add tags. If you have more than one course, you can use the "Add to" field to add the video to multiple courses. The video title should be concise and must be 120 characters or less. You can add tags to provide more terms the video can be discovered from when end users search. In general, tags should be short, common terms that end users would likely use when searching. You can add an unlimited number of tags, but each tag must be 36 characters or less. Tags may contain spaces, punctuation and alphanumeric characters.
You can select "Team Member" or "Team Admin" in the "Access" field to limit which users can access the video.
